In the post-apocalyptic world of Terminator Survivors, players must fend off a relentless killing machine stalker inspired by Resident Evil’s iconic enemies such as Mr. X, Nemesis, Jack Baker, and Lady Dimitrescu. The game features its own equivalent, described by Nacon as “a relentless and formidable hunter that cannot be stopped.” This enemy is designed to be faithful to the Terminator series lore and to capture the oppressive tone of the first two Terminator movies.

Set in 2009 after Judgment Day, Terminator Survivors follows players as they encounter a T-800 infiltration unit sent by Skynet to rewrite history and secure victory in the Future War. The inclusion of this solo T-800 stalker adds an extra layer of tension and fear to the gameplay, reflecting the themes of the original Terminator movies and providing an immersive experience for players.

Despite the resemblance to Resident Evil’s enemies, Nacon emphasizes that the inclusion of the T-800 in Terminator Survivors is meant to honor the franchise’s lore and deliver a gameplay experience that stays true to the films that inspired it.
