Josh Berry is set to join Wood Brothers Racing for the 2025 season, making him the second Stewart-Haas Racing driver to secure a new ride for next year. He will be behind the wheel of the No. 21 car, taking over from Harrison Burton, who has been with the organization for three seasons.

Berry himself is excited about the opportunity and believes he is well-equipped to deliver strong performances on the track. While there are talented individuals at Team Penske who could potentially fill the role of crew chief, Wood Brothers Racing is aligned with Team Penske and utilizes some of its personnel. The crew chief for Berry will be determined at a later date.

With four top-10 finishes in the last seven races, Berry has shown consistency and determination on the track, only having three finishes outside the top 20 in the last 10 points races. His impressive results have earned him recognition as one of NASCAR’s top prospects by Jon Wood, president of Wood Brothers Racing.

The Wood Brothers are eager to secure their 100th career Cup win, with their 99th victory coming with Ryan Blaney in 2017 at Pocono Raceway. Berry is looking forward to this new challenge and believes his relentless work ethic and dedication to his craft will help him succeed in his new role and continue to prove himself as a competitive driver in the NASCAR Cup Series.

In addition to Berry’s exciting news, Ford Motorcraft/Quick Lane continues to support Wood Brothers Racing through its partnership with Team Penske. The full sponsorship details for Berry’s No. 21 car will be announced at a later date.

Overall, Josh Berry’s move to Wood Brothers Racing represents an exciting opportunity for both drivers and teams alike as they look forward to what next season holds in NASCAR racing.
