Recently, Reem Mall was inaugurated in Abu Dhabi, a new cutting-edge shopping and entertainment destination in the Middle East. The opening ceremony was attended by several dignitaries including the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the country and other senior officials in the retail sector.

During the ceremony, Sheikh Nahyan and attendees explored various sections of Reem Mall, including Snow Abu Dhabi, a region’s largest snow park that offers snow adventures such as sledding, rollerblading, and ziplining. The mall spans over 186,000 square meters of rental space and houses over 400 brands, 80 restaurants.

Reem Mall is a $1.3 billion investment that is expected to support UAE’s National Tourism Strategy 2031 and enhance its reputation as a premier tourist destination. Developed by Al Farwaniyah Company in partnership with Agility Global, National Real Estate Company, United Projects Aviation Services Company (UPAC), Reem Mall features an advanced digital infrastructure that supports e-commerce and provides visitors with a digitally enhanced shopping experience. Bruce von Kaufmann, Director of Reem Mall expressed confidence that the mall will attract exclusive offers and provide a unique shopping experience for visitors and tourists.

Abu Dhabi has been focusing on strengthening its position as a global center for entertainment and family recreation recently. This new addition to its tourism industry is expected to contribute significantly to this goal.
