Dwight Raum, the Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) of Rochester Regional Health, has been recognized as one of the “Chief Digital Officers to Know In 2024” by Becker’s Hospital Review. This prestigious list acknowledges 46 leaders who are responsible for overseeing technology integration, improving patient journeys, and increasing care access through digital initiatives.

Since joining RRH in 2023, Mr. Raum has led successful digital efforts to modernize the health system’s IT infrastructure. He oversaw the implementation of Enterprise Access Management with Single-Sign-On (SSO) to simplify access and enhance security for employees. Mr. Raum has also focused on reimagining data governance for operational, data & analytics, and technology to support an integrated health system. Additionally, he has developed a digital and AI-driven roadmap for RRH’s future initiatives.

As a collaborative leader, Mr. Raum has played a key role in redesigning RRH’s virtual care and establishing a command center for coordinated, multi-disciplinary care. His efforts have promoted operational excellence across the organization, ensuring seamless integration of care initiatives. Mr. Raum has also worked closely with RIT partners to create and implement an innovation framework, fostering a strong alliance between RRH and Rochester Institute of Technology.

Prior to his role at RRH, Mr. Raum held executive positions at Quil Health in Philadelphia and Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore. He holds a degree in Management Science with a specialization in Operations Management from Virginia Tech. Rochester Regional Health commends Mr. Raum for his dedication and leadership in improving patient care and access through digital initiatives
