Christopher Sweat, the marketing and communications director for YMCA of Coastal Georgia, explained that EGYM collects data on users’ range of motion, strength, and agility to personalize their workouts and target areas that need improvement.

The senior vice president of the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Mary Arocha, shared that over 9,000 people have already benefited from EGYM technology at six different YMCA locations. Developed in Germany, EGYM has been well-received in the United States, with the Habersham YMCA location also incorporating the innovative system. Arocha highlighted how EGYM represents the future of fitness, combining cutting-edge technology with the YMCA’s values of inclusivity and community.
