Zagreb, Croatia has emerged as one of the top 10 cities in Southeast Europe with over 400,000 users of Revolut. This was shared by Andrius Bičeika, a member of the Revolut board, during the Money Motion conference in Zagreb. He highlighted the growth in the number of transactions, with 40 million transactions last year, two-thirds of which occurred in Croatia. This indicates that people in Croatia are using Revolut not just for travel outside the eurozone, but also for daily transactions.

Bićeika acknowledged that there is still work to be done to make Revolut the primary daily card for users. He mentioned introducing new services to achieve this goal and promised that they will eventually get there. The growth in Croatia, where the number of users has increased by 60,000 since last year, is in line with the population in their markets. Bičeika also mentioned unique cases like Ireland, where half of the population uses Revolut.

Recently, Revolut launched new financial services in Croatia such as eSIM feature and RevPoints rewards system. The eSIM allows users to activate and pay for data connections within the app, eliminating the need for physical SIM cards. The RevPoints system rewards users with points for using virtual or physical cards which can be exchanged for various benefits. Bičeika highlighted that users in Croatia have collected around 40 million points through the RevPoints system alone.
