The Rutgers football season opener against Howard has been rescheduled to Thursday, Aug. 29 as part of a doubleheader on the Big Ten Network. Kickoff for the game is set for 6 P.M. EST, making Rutgers the first Big Ten team to play this season. Originally scheduled for Aug. 31, the game was moved up to accommodate the TV schedule.
