The spring sports season is in full swing for Lenawee County high schools. On Monday, girls soccer games took place. Clinton emerged victorious over Tecumseh with an impressive 8-2 score, thanks to Aubrey Lauer’s six goals. Anna Schaffner added two more goals and two assists, while Kaylee Raiser contributed two assists. Goalkeeper Jackie Whiting made six saves for Clinton. In another game, Monroe defeated Blissfield 7-2.

Meanwhile, in lacrosse action, the Tecumseh girls team started their season with a tough 16-4 loss to Sylvania Northview. Sapphira Williams and Emily Burgess each scored a goal and added an assist for Tecumseh. Jayden Poley and Jazlyn Reau also netted a goal each in the game.
