Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton will take a break from the team to recover from a surgical procedure before training camp begins. Head coach John Harbaugh announced that Hamilton will not be participating in this week’s mandatory minicamp due to an elbow injury that required medical intervention.
Harbaugh shared more details about Hamilton’s surgery, explaining that he had loose bodies in his elbow that needed to be removed. The procedure is expected to take two to three weeks for Hamilton to fully recover. Despite the setback, Harbaugh expressed confidence that Hamilton will be back on the field in time for training camp.
Hamilton had an impressive season in 2023, earning first-team All-Pro honors after a standout performance. He recorded 81 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, four interceptions, three sacks, and a forced fumble while helping lead the team to an AFC North championship. The Ravens will miss his presence during minicamp but are hopeful that he will make a full recovery and return soon.
