Cole Custer, the 2018 Texas winner, secured the second place on the starting grid for Saturday afternoon’s race at Texas Motor Speedway with a lap of 185.471 mph. This marks Custer’s first pole award of the season.
Following Custer on the grid is Rookie Jesse Love, who won the pole position with a speed of 185.612 mph. Love has won three pole awards this season and his first since February when he won the pole at Atlanta.
Taylor Gray, Chandler Smith, and Riley Herbst rounded out the top five in qualifying, showcasing strong performances ahead of the race. Smith had the best qualifying result among Dash 4 Cash drivers, securing fourth position on the grid. Justin Allgaier, Sam Mayer, and Sheldon Creed also qualified for the race and will be competing for a $100,000 bonus in Saturday’s event.
The entry list for the race consisted of 38 drivers, all of whom were able to qualify for the race, ensuring a full field of competitors for the event.
