In recent visit, a delegation from the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), led by Sheikha Mthayel Al Thani, praised the workflow system and effective delivery of services at the Qatar Charity Comprehensive Health Center in the Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan. The center, which is the largest health facility in the camp, has 12 specialized clinics that serve 49,000 refugees living in the camp.

The Comprehensive Health Center was established by Qatar Charity in 2023 to provide medical services to Syrian refugees in the camp. The center focuses on improving access to primary healthcare services in various specialties, including ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, cardiology, dentistry, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and vaccination services for children. Mr. Saleh Al-Marri, General Supervisor of Qatar Charity’s office in Jordan highlighted the humanitarian initiatives supported by the State of Qatar and the QFFD specifically mentioning the establishment of the largest health project in the Zaatari Camp in 2023.
