According to a recent poll conducted by USA TODAY/Suffolk University, President Joe Biden is trailing former President Donald Trump in six key swing states. However, the poll found that a significant percentage of voters in these states remain undecided about their vote.

The Wall Street Journal also conducted a similar poll and found that Trump is leading Biden in states such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. The margin of Trump’s lead ranged from one to six percentage points in these states, with Biden and Trump tied in Wisconsin.

When the poll included other Independent and third-party candidates, Trump maintained his lead in five out of six states. In Wisconsin, Biden led. The poll was conducted from March 17 to March 24 among 600 registered voters in each state with a margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points.

In terms of job performance, more voters disapproved of Biden’s performance in all seven states by a significant margin. On the other hand, Trump had more approval than disapproval in Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada and Pennsylvania while the approval rating was tied in Wisconsin. Trump’s approval rating was down by one point in Arizona.

The poll also highlighted that voters believe Trump is better suited to handle the economy compared to Biden. These findings are consistent with other polls that also show a close matchup between Trump and Biden ahead of the upcoming election.
