Portia Hogg has been appointed as the new Information Technology Director of the City of Duncanville. The city manager, Douglas E. Finch, expressed his excitement about having someone with Portia’s background, skills and talent leading the IT department. He emphasized the importance of Information Technology in all city operations and the need for advancement and modernization.

Ms. Hogg recently joined the City of Duncanville as a Project Manager three months ago, bringing with her over 12 years of experience in Information Technology. Her expertise lies in improvement, strategic planning, software implementation, and project management. She is eager to work with a team of talented individuals to benefit the citizens, businesses, and stakeholders of Duncanville.

Douglas E. Finch highlighted Ms. Hogg’s skills and experience saying “Portia’s appointment as IT director is an excellent fit for our city’s needs,” adding “We are confident that she will bring innovative solutions and drive growth within our organization.”

Ms. Hogg is dedicated to enhancing the technologies used by departments such as Public Works, Fire, and Police to deliver high-quality service to the community.
