Austrian intralogistics specialist TGW Logistics has announced a partnership with Opex Corp, a warehouse automation developer based in New Jersey. This collaboration will involve the development of new technology that will improve Opex’s Infinity automated storage and retrieval (AS/RS) technology. Additionally, the technology will be implemented in TGW’s new order fulfillment system, LivePick.

Opex Corp, with over 1,500 employees, focuses on developing next-generation automation solutions for warehouse, document, and mail automation. On the other hand, TGW Logistics has more than 4,400 employees and serves clients such as Gap and Victoria’s Secret through its U.S. unit in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The partnership between Opex and TGW is aimed at bringing fresh insights and expertise to the optimization and advancement of Opex’s Infinity technology.

TGW’s chief technology officer, Christoph Wolkerstorfer, expressed excitement about the collaboration and emphasized the shared values and strong focus on corporate culture that brought the two companies together. Through this partnership, both companies aim to improve their products and services while also fostering a strong working relationship built on mutual respect and trust.
