Oklahoma City is gearing up for the start of softball season, with the Women’s College World Series set to take place at Devon Park from Thursday morning onwards. Both the University of Oklahoma (OU) and Oklahoma State University (OSU) will be participating in the tournament, showcasing their skills on the field.

The State Tourism and Recreation Department is excited about the upcoming event, expecting a significant turnout of over 110,000 fans throughout the ten-day tournament. This influx of visitors is projected to inject $25 million into the city’s economy, providing a boost to local businesses and communities.

The action gets underway with OU taking on Duke at 1:30 p.m., followed by OSU facing Florida at 8:30 p.m. Gates at Devon Park will open at 9:30 a.m., allowing fans to come and support their favorite teams in this thrilling softball showdown.
