James Jannard, the founder of Oakley, has recently listed his Beverly Hills cement compound for $68 million. This comes after he made headlines with a record-breaking $210 million sale of his Malibu mansion, surpassing Jay-Z in the process. According to Forbes, Jannard’s net worth is estimated at $1.3 billion.

Jannard purchased the 18,000 square feet compound in 2009 for $19.9 million and originally built it in 2016. Located in Trousdale Estates in the foothills of the Santa Monica mountains, the property features five bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and an impressive oval courtyard.

After founding Oakley in 1975 and eventually selling the company for $2.1 billion in 2007, Jannard went on to start Red Digital Cinema before retiring in 2019. The mogul’s latest listing is now on the market at $68 million, offering a glimpse inside the futuristic fortress with imposing metal doors opening up to the giant oval courtyard.
