North Augusta boys’ soccer emerged victorious in round two of the Class AAAA playoffs with a score of 3-1, eliminating Indian Land from the competition. The team had received a bye in the first round and played its home game at North Augusta High School.

North Augusta was able to take advantage of scoring opportunities throughout both halves while maintaining a strong defensive presence. Goalkeeper Justus Holden made several crucial saves that helped keep the team in control of the match.

Head coach Brent DeGennaro praised his team for their excellent performance, stating that it was one of their best finishes of the season. He highlighted goalscorer Jack Stevens as a standout player, noting his impressive leadership on and off the field.

Throughout the game, North Augusta displayed impressive possession and defensive skills that helped them thwart Indian Land’s attacks. When Indian Land scored a goal in the second half, North Augusta responded quickly with another goal to regain its lead. As the game drew to a close, DeGennaro encouraged his team to maintain possession and focus on strategic play rather than just scoring more goals. With this mindset, they were able to add another goal from Gavin Rodriguez in the final minutes, securing their victory and setting themselves up for continued success in the next round.
