Larian Studios, the team behind the critically acclaimed “Baldur’s Gate 3,” has announced that they will not be working on a sequel to the game. Instead, they are focusing on two new projects that are independent of the “Baldur’s Gate” saga.

The studio is currently working on Patch 7, which will address bugs, improve evil endings, and introduce new modification tools to give players more control over the game. They are also looking to add cross-play and a photo mode in the future. However, they have stated that there will be no continuation of the story through a new narrative, expansion, or sequel.

Larian Studios confirmed that there will be no “Baldur’s Gate 4” and expressed excitement about the development of their new projects. The game, inspired by Dungeons and Dragons, offers an open world for players to explore freely, adapting the lore of the popular role-playing game into a story where player decisions affect the characters and outcomes.

Since its release in August of last year, “Baldur’s Gate 3” has received recognition in several prestigious awards including the Golden Joysticks, Game Developers Choice, DICE, and The Game Awards, as well as BAFTA Games Awards, Hugo Awards, and GLAAD Media Awards. This game has been a hit for Larian Studios and has paved the way for their future endeavors.
