According to NFL Media, the Denver Broncos have acquired Zach Wilson, the New York Jets’ No. 2 pick in the 2021 draft, in exchange for a sixth-round pick, No. 203, and a seventh-round pick, No. 256. The Jets will also contribute to Wilson’s salary as he is set to make $5.5 million in 2024.

Despite being traded for Aaron Rodgers last offseason, Wilson started 11 games for the Jets last season due to Rodgers’ injury. In those games, he completed 60.1 percent of his passes for 2,271 yards, eight touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Over the last three seasons, Wilson has played in 34 games with 33 starts, completing 57 percent of his passes for 6,293 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 25 interceptions.

In Denver, Wilson will join a quarterbacks room that includes Jarrett Stidham and Ben DiNucci. The Broncos also have the No. 12 overall pick in the upcoming draft so they could potentially add another quarterback to their roster.
