AKSC is a cooperative of Amendment 80 fleet that fishes for flatfish, Pacific Ocean perch, and Atka mackerel in Alaska. Webster brings with her extensive experience in fisheries science having previously worked as a fisheries scientist for Alaska Department of Fish & Game where she focused on recreational groundfish research in charter fishing sector. Apart from her work in Alaska, Webster has also served on International Pacific Halibut Commission’s Management Strategy Advisory Board and worked directly with halibut longliners.
