With 34 years of experience and a degree from Trousdale Barber College in Shawnee, Oklahoma, she specializes in services such as straight razor shaves, scalp massages, conditioning treatments, facial waxing, and haircutting for individuals of all ages. Buoy has also received additional training in razor cutting techniques and offers services such as perming, coloring, and highlighting.

In other news, the city of Topeka has appointed Ben Hart as its interim chief financial officer, effective April 16. With over 25 years of experience in the public sector and certifications as a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant, Hart brings a wealth of expertise to the role. He has served as a director with Baker Tilly and held key positions in resource management for large municipalities in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Hart is actively involved in organizations such as the Kansas and Missouri Society of CPAs, where he contributes to the governmental accounting committee and the Government Financial Officers Association at both national and local levels. Interim city manager Richard U. Nienstedt expressed confidence in Hart’s abilities, stating that his experience and dedication to public service will benefit the city of Topeka during the transition to new leadership.
