Amanda Berube, a nurse practitioner with extensive experience in acute and critical care, has recently joined the medical staff of Franklin Health Primary Care. Prior to this role, she served as a float pool nurse at the Veterans Administration at Togus.

Berube holds several degrees and certifications, including a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Excelsior University and a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner studies from Walden University. She is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Maine Nurse Practitioner Association, and the International Honor Society of Nursing.

As a primary care provider, Berube plays a crucial role in patients’ health preservation, illness prevention, and disease management. She aims to use evidence-based practices to educate patients and empower them with the knowledge they need to take charge of their health journey.
