Citadel Securities Veteran Joins Hudson River Trading, Amid Lengthy Non-Compete Agreement and Advisory Board Role with Talent-Intelligence Startup

Josh Fisher, the former managing director and co-head of technology at Citadel Securities, has recently joined Hudson River Trading in a role related to ‘trading tech’, despite being subject to a longer-than-average non-compete agreement after leaving Citadel in March 2022.

Having spent the last 14 years at Citadel Securities in Chicago, Fisher is now returning to the city for his new role at Hudson River Trading. During his two-year garden leave, Fisher has also taken on an advisory board position at the talent-intelligence startup Censia since September.
