Marigold, a marketing technology firm based in Nashville, has appointed Mike Gordon as CEO. Most recently, Gordon served as CEO at ArisGlobal, a company in Massachusetts specializing in clinical safety and regulatory solutions. He has also previously led Altus Group, a real estate asset group based in Toronto. While he is currently based in Boston, Gordon will be spending a significant amount of time in Nashville according to a Marigold spokesperson.

Gordon’s appointment comes as a replacement for Wellford Dillard who has served as CEO of Marigold for seven years. Dillard will now be taking on the role of CEO at Avid, a media and entertainment technology company based in Burlington, Massachusetts. In his statement, Gordon expressed his excitement to continue the progress already made at Marigold and provide innovative marketing solutions that exceed the expectations of global brands.

Formerly known as CM Group, Marigold rebranded in 2023 and currently has 100 employees in Nashville. The company consists of various companies including Campaign Monitor, Cheetah Digital, Emma in Nashville, Liveclicker, Sailthru
