A woman has taken over as chairman of Strabag since February. Kerstin Gelbmann replaced Alfred Gusenbauer as chairman of the supervisory board. Gelbmann is not only Grossnigg’s right-hand man but also the head of the supervisory board at Ankerbrot and a board member of Austro Holding and the Haselsteiner Family Private Foundation. However, Grossnigg and Haselsteiner lost a supervisory board member when Karin Exner-Wöhrer resigned from her mandates at Signa.

The managing director of Austro Control, Maria Hackl, will be leaving the state at the end of April. Recently, she was on the supervisory board of Ankerbrot Holding and its subsidiary Anker Snack & Coffee GmbH. Ankerbrot Holding, the oldest large bakery in Austria with 100 branches, is part of Grossnigg’s Austro Holding.
