Thaddeus Woosley has been appointed as the executive vice president and head of national practice groups at World Insurance Associates LLC, based in Chicago. Woosley brings over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles in the insurance and financial services industry. Prior to joining World Insurance Associates, he served as the SVP of broker management and sales operations at QBE North America and held various positions at Aon plc, including vice president and head of marketing for Aon Risk Solutions U.S. Retail.
In other news, John Berger has joined the board of directors at Coaction Specialty Insurance Group, replacing previous Chairman Stan Galanski. Coaction, headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey, welcomed Berger, who retired from Ascot Re in 2021. Berger has a wealth of experience in the reinsurance industry, having served as the founding chairman and CEO of Third Point Reinsurance Ltd, as well as holding positions at Alterra Capital Holdings Limited and Chubb Re, Inc. He brings a depth of knowledge and expertise to the Coaction board of directors.
