Katie Krzaczek and Tony Ho Tran are joining Slate as senior editors in our business and technology sections. Krzaczek will be our senior editor covering business, with a background in consumer trends, digital culture, and the impact of big business on our everyday lives. She comes to Slate from The Philadelphia Inquirer, where she led a strategy project to revamp local business coverage.
Ho Tran will be our senior editor covering technology, specializing in areas such as AI, robotics, and VR/AR. He previously worked as the senior editor of innovation at The Daily Beast. Both Krzaczek and Ho Tran will play a key role in expanding Slate’s business and technology coverage, making these sections essential destinations for readers interested in how these topics relate to their lives. In line with Slate’s mix of reporting and analysis, our coverage will continue to help readers understand and navigate the most important stories in business and technology, with a unique voice and perspective. They will both be starting on April 29th.
