The MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute, part of the nationally acclaimed MetroHealth System, is expanding its outpatient services to the community. This move aims to bring top-rated care closer to home for more patients. The Broadway Health Center in Cleveland will now offer adult physical therapy outpatient services, while MetroHealth’s Bedford Medical Offices will later this summer provide outpatient physical therapy for adults and pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.

MetroHealth’s decision to expand these services comes in response to the growing demand for the exceptional care provided by the Rehabilitation Institute team. U.S. News & World Report has ranked this team among the best in the nation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury. Dr. Richard Wilson, Chair of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), emphasized the dedication of the therapists in helping patients achieve their goals, even in cases that are medically complex and complicated by social barriers.

The Broadway location will specialize in adult therapy for orthopaedics, pain management, musculoskeletal weakness, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. In contrast, the Bedford site will become MetroHealth’s first east side location to offer comprehensive pediatrics outpatient therapy. Outpatient therapy services are also available at various other locations such as Main Campus, Old Brooklyn Medical Center, Parma Medical Center, and others.

The expansion of outpatient therapy services by MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute showcases its commitment to providing high-quality care to a larger community. With a team of highly talented clinicians who are dedicated to the well-being of their patients, MetroHealth aims to make rehabilitation services more accessible for individuals in need.

In conclusion, Broadway Physical Therapy’s expansion into outpatient services is an excellent move that brings top-notch care closer to home for more patients. With a team of highly skilled clinicians committed to patient success and accessibility of rehabilitation services is an essential step towards improving health outcomes in the community.
