The organization partners with the Department of Mental Health to hold seminars and workshops for Black men struggling with similar challenges.

Dr. Bryman Williams, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, emphasizes the importance of seeking help for mental wellness and destigmatizing mental health concerns within the African American community. Open dialogue with individuals experiencing mental health issues is crucial, as Dr. Williams stresses the importance of seeking treatment from licensed professionals to avoid worsening symptoms and potential death.

MenTalk Growth is hosting its second annual gala on Saturday, April 6 in Jackson to raise awareness about Black Men’s mental health.
