The Franklin Community Co-op has welcomed Caitlin von Schmidt as its new outreach and communications manager. Von Schmidt started with the co-op on March 19 and is excited to be part of the co-op family. The co-op’s general manager, John Williams, expressed his excitement about having von Schmidt on board and highlighted her previous experience in the Greenfield Business Association and Mayor’s Office as assets that will help her succeed in her new role.
In other news, the MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center will host a Multi-Industry Job Fair at Greenfield Community College’s Dining Commons on Thursday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Advance registration is not required to attend. Several employers will be present at the job fair, including Berkshire East/Zoar Outdoor, Community Action Pioneer Valley, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
