Telligen, Inc., a leading healthcare technology services company, has filed a lawsuit in federal court against a rival company based in California. The lawsuit alleges that Telligens Technologies LLC is using a trademark that is nearly identical to Telligen’s for similar services in the healthcare industry.

Telligen claims that Telligens Technologies LLC is intentionally infringing on its family of “Telligen” marks that are associated with health care services. The company has been in operation for over 50 years and holds at least six federal trademark registrations, with three of them declared incontestable. This information was included in the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California.

The complaint also states that Telligen has been using its marks since as early as 2011 to provide health management expertise. The company is seeking legal action to protect its trademarks and prevent any confusion in the marketplace due to the similarity between the two companies’ names.
