Hamburger Mary’s, an LGBTQ+ owned business that has been in operation for 16 years in Orlando, has announced that they will be leaving their Church Street location. In a Facebook post, they revealed that June 2 will mark their last day at 110 W. Church Street in downtown Orlando. Over the years, the restaurant has been a popular spot for birthdays, engagements, bachelorette parties, weddings and nights out with friends.

The decision to relocate comes as a result of the downtown area seeing a decline in foot traffic. The owners noted that with fewer people working downtown and more opting to work remotely, along with decreased traffic in the evenings, it was time for a change. Despite this, they expressed their gratitude to the community for the years of support.

Hamburger Mary’s is currently in talks with several venues to find a new location that will be a good fit for their brand. They are open to suggestions from the community as well, welcoming any recommendations for a space that aligns with the spirit of Hamburger Mary’s. They are excited for what the future holds and are looking forward to continuing to serve their loyal customers in a new and improved location.

Over the years, Hamburger Mary’s has become known as one of Orlando’s most iconic LGBTQ+ owned businesses and popular hangouts spots. The restaurant’s loyal customer base have come from all walks of life and have been drawn by its unique atmosphere and delicious food options.

The owners of Hamburger Mary’s have always been committed to providing an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome. They have organized various events like pride parades and drag shows which have attracted more customers who appreciate their efforts towards promoting diversity and inclusion.

As they prepare to leave their current location, Hamburger Mary’s is eagerly looking forward to finding a new home where they can continue to provide excellent service while maintaining their commitment towards inclusivity and diversity.
