The LIV Team Championship, the league’s final event of the season, will take place at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton. With a $50 million purse up for grabs, the team tournament promises to be an exciting and competitive event.
Scheduled rounds will be held from Friday, Sept. 20 to Sunday, Sept. 22, providing fans with an opportunity to witness top-tier golfing talent in action. LIV Golf Commissioner Greg Norman expressed enthusiasm for hosting the championship in Texas, a state known for producing great golfers and hosting prestigious events.
Since its launch in June 2022, LIV Golf has attracted players with lucrative paydays, drawing them away from the PGA Tour. Notable players such as Bryson DeChambeau, who recently placed second at the PGA Championship, are part of the tour.
