Candace Parker, a basketball legend, recently shared her thoughts on the growing popularity of women’s basketball. She highlighted how the sport has come a long way and attracted more fans and followers than ever before.

After spending 16 seasons in the WNBA, Parker announced her retirement on social media. Although she faced an injury that limited her playing time last season, she reflected on her career with gratitude for the opportunities she had in the sport. Her decision to retire was influenced by the need for another surgery, but she remained focused on leaving the game in a better place than when she first started.

Parker’s career began with the Los Angeles Sparks after being chosen first overall in the 2008 draft.
