Lamborghini is set to showcase its latest creations at the Auto China Beijing motor show, including the Urus SE, a new generation luxury super SUV with a PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) powertrain. This innovative vehicle boasts a cutting-edge design, optimized aerodynamics, and a hybrid powertrain that delivers an impressive 800 CV output. The Urus SE sets new standards in comfort, performance, efficiency, emissions, and driving pleasure in the segment.
In addition to the Urus SE, Lamborghini is also showcasing the Revuelto – the first super sports V12 hybrid HPEV – at the event. The Huracán Tecnica, a rear-wheel drive super sports car powered by a V10 engine, will also be on display in the Ad Personam room. Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, expressed his excitement about presenting these latest achievements at such an important event in the automotive industry.
Winkelmann reflected on Lamborghini’s history in Beijing and mentioned that twelve years ago he presented the Urus concept car at the same event which led to creating a new segment of super sports SUVs. The Urus has since become one of Lamborghini’s most successful models and serves as its third pillar in its lineup. Winkelmann emphasized that the Urus SE represents the next chapter in Lamborghini’s success story and marks a significant step towards electrification under their ‘Direzione Cor Tauri’ plan.
