In the Women’s 200 back final at the 2024 Australian Olympic Trials, Kaylee McKeown displayed her exceptional talent. Holding multiple records in the event, including the World Record, Australian Record, Oceanic Record, Commonwealth Record, and All Comers Record, McKeown was a dominant force in the pool. The Swim Australia OQT for the event was set at 2:09.74.

McKeown secured the gold with a time of 2:03.30, just narrowly missing her own World Record. This time also solidified her as the #2 performer of all time in the event. In previous competitions, she has battled it out with top swimmers like Regan Smith, who holds the #2 spot in the event’s all-time performances.
