The animated sequel series is a follow-up to the popular Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and explores a new era of chaos after the park has closed and the kingdom has fallen.
One notable absence from the voice cast is Jenna Ortega, who portrayed Brooklynn in Camp Cretaceous. In Chaos Theory, Brooklynn is apparently killed in a dinosaur attack, leading the other members of the Nublar Six to be in danger.
The series is developed by DreamWorks Animation Television and Amblin Entertainment, with Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley serving as executive producers and showrunners. Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall are also on board as executive producers. DreamWorks Animation handles the animation, while Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment produce the series.
