On Sunday, March 24, a crowd of Jordanians gathered in protest against the Israeli army’s actions in Gaza Strip. The demonstration was sparked by an interview that aired on Al-Jazeera the previous night, where a Gazan woman claimed that Israeli soldiers were committing heinous acts against Palestinians at Shifa Hospital.

People from all corners of the city made their way to the Israeli embassy in Amman to voice their discontent. The embassy was heavily guarded by a significant number of Jordanian police forces who were there to maintain order. However, despite their efforts, protesters were unable to approach the embassy premises due to security measures put in place by authorities.

Videos circulating on social media show security forces using tear gas to disperse the demonstrators who were attempting to get closer to the embassy. Reports from Jo24.net stated that the police and security forces were preventing protesters from approaching the embassy premises.

The protest highlighted the strong sentiments among Jordanians regarding the situation in Gaza and the actions of the Israeli army. Despite efforts by authorities to keep them at bay, their voices and concerns were loud and clear as they stood in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
