During a recent press conference, Jets head coach Robert Saleh provided an update on quarterback Aaron Rodgers. According to Saleh, Rodgers has no restrictions during the team’s OTAs and is looking good. Despite his injury last season, Rodgers is on track to begin the upcoming season healthy.

Saleh commented on Rodgers’ arm talent and his re-acclimation to the team’s offense, noting that he is participating in all activities with the team. Last season, Rodgers only played four snaps in the Jets’ Week 1 game before tearing his Achilles. He returned to practice late in the season but did not play in any games once the Jets were no longer in playoff contention.

Despite these challenges, Saleh praised Rodgers for his dedication to evolving within the offense and trying new things during OTAs. With Rodgers looking strong and showing no signs of restrictions, the Jets are optimistic about their quarterback heading into the 2024 season.
