The Jefferson City Jays emerged victorious in their matchup against the Blair Oaks Falcons on Monday night, with a final score of 3-2. The game was played at Blair Oaks High School, where both teams battled it out on the field.

The Falcons got off to an early lead, scoring a run in the bottom of the third inning thanks to freshman Vander Halford driving home junior Evan McCullough. However, a balk from the Jays’ pitcher allowed the Falcons to widen their advantage to 2-0.

But the Jays fought back in the top of the fourth inning, scoring three runs to take a narrow lead over Blair Oaks. Juniors Adam Scheperle and Ryan Meyer were instrumental in helping Jefferson City pull ahead, while senior Ryan Tadsen also played a key role in their comeback. After that, neither team was able to score any more runs for the remainder of the game.

In terms of upcoming matchups, Blair Oaks will be hosting Hallsville on Tuesday at home, while Jefferson City will be playing Father Tolton at home on the same day. Both teams will be looking to carry forward their momentum from this game into their next contests.
