Jade Health, previously known as the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE), has recently announced a rebranding to better align its values with its branding. The company’s accreditation services will still be offered under the name BHCOE Accreditation, but it will now operate as Jade Health.

The CEO of Jade Health, Anya Perea, explained that the name Jade symbolizes well-being and healing, emphasizing transparency and clarity in its operations. Established in 2015 and based in Los Angeles, Jade Health serves 47 states and 25,000 clinicians.

Jade Health offers a range of services including accreditation services, maintaining an ABA data registry, providing consulting services, and operating a learning hub with webinars and continuing education courses. The company plans to expand its services following the rebrand.

The rebrand comes after a leadership change at BHCOE, with former president Anya Perea taking over as CEO from founder Sara Litvak in December 2023. While Litvak had been involved in a controversy regarding the use of artificial intelligence to write an article defending private equity’s role in ABA companies, which was later retracted due to inaccuracies, she remains an advisor to the company.

Jade Health had previously collaborated with Evernorth, the behavioral health branch of Cigna Corp., to develop quality performance measures for the treatment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The company’s rebranding signifies a new chapter in its commitment to excellence in behavioral health services.
