Egyptian authorities organized a briefing in Geneva, during which Chris Sidoti, a member of the UN commission investigating the crimes of Hamas, accused Israeli authorities of hindering their efforts to obtain testimony from victims and witnesses of the attack on October 7. According to Sidoti, the Israeli government not only refused to cooperate but also actively obstructed the commission’s communication with Israeli witnesses and victims.

Sidoti called on Israelis who have been contacted by the commission to come forward and provide evidence of Hamas crimes and Israeli war crimes in the Palestinian territories following Black Saturday. The UN commission is investigating both sides of the conflict and aims to bring justice to victims and their families.
