On Monday, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani inaugurated three new bridges in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. The first bridge that was opened links Muhammad Al-Qasim Road to the Army Canal Road from the Rustamiya side. This bridge has a length of 470 meters and is part of the initial phase of projects aimed at easing traffic congestion in Baghdad.

Another bridge was also unveiled by Al-Sudani that connects Al-Dakhil Street to Palestine Street in the Al-Muhandiseen District. This bridge is expected to improve connectivity and accessibility in the city. Furthermore, the Iraqi Prime Minister unveiled the Al-Shaljiya Bridge in Baghdad as part of the larger Al-Tobji and Al-Shaljiya intersection development project. This significant bridge has a length of 450 meters and will contribute to the enhancement of infrastructure in the area.

These initiatives by Prime Minister Al-Sudani signify a step towards enhancing transportation and infrastructure in Baghdad, ultimately benefiting the residents of the city. Through such initiatives, the government aims to improve the quality of life for the people of Iraq and ensure smoother and more efficient movement within the capital.
