Intoxibakes, a popular downtown bakery known for its alcohol-infused and regular baked goods, is temporarily relocating to The Empire Mall. The bakery, owned by Holly Jorgenson, her daughter Josie Layton, and daughter-in-law Shannon Johnson, has signed a month-to-month lease at the mall as they search for a permanent location.

The move to The Empire Mall will see Intoxibakes taking over the former Great American Cookies space near the Sanford Children’s Play Area. The bakery plans to reopen in the new location by Wednesday after moving their equipment this Saturday. In addition to their signature baked goods, Intoxibakes’ new space in the mall will also serve as a second location for Candy Cloud Factory, owned by the same women. They will be offering cotton candy and SDSU Ice Cream along with their baked goods.

Due to limited space in the mall location, Intoxibakes will have a smaller selection of bakery items on display. However, they will still be taking custom and wedding cake orders while in their temporary home. The bakery’s hours at the mall will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. To celebrate their move, Intoxibakes is offering 20 percent off baked goods through Friday.

The temporary relocation to The Empire Mall provides Intoxibakes with a new opportunity to reach a larger audience and expand their business alongside Candy Cloud Factory. Customers can look forward to the same delicious treats they love while exploring the mall’s offerings.

Intoxibakes was established in 2017 and has been operating out of the Jones421 Building for the past five years. This move marks an exciting new chapter for the family-owned business as they continue to grow and expand their customer base.

Overall, customers can expect an exceptional experience at Intoxibakes’ new location at The Empire Mall
