The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is just around the corner, and India is preparing for their campaign with a warm-up match against Bangladesh. The Indian players have been undergoing intense training ahead of the game, with skipper Rohit Sharma focusing on sorting out his defenses while vice-captain Hardik Pandya was practicing crisp shots on the leg side. Rishabh Pant was working on his unconventional shots through mid-wicket, and Shivam Dube was honing his bat swing in a video released by the BCCI.

Bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Mohammed Siraj were also seen bowling under the bright sunshine during training sessions. All-rounders Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja rolled their arms over as well.

India is one of five teams in Group A for the upcoming tournament alongside Pakistan, hosts United States, Ireland, and Canada. The teams will play each other in a single-round robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the Super Eight stage of the tournament. Group A matches will be exclusively played in the United States, with West Indies hosting the event as co-hosts.

The tournament opener will see USA face Canada at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas on June 1st. Other matches include India vs Ireland and United States vs Pakistan leading up to the final group matches in Florida.
