This weekend, the ImmerseCon 24 STEM & Video Game Convention is taking place in Richmond, Virginia. The convention will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, at the Henrico Sports and Event Center. As a journalist covering the event, I was able to witness firsthand the excitement and innovation happening at this unique video game and STEM festival.
Jeramy Moore, Media Director for ImmerseCon, described the event as a celebration of local geek communities and enthusiasts who come together in one space to share their passion for video games and STEM fields.
