TP Hair Care and Medical Spa, a facility owned by Doan Thach Tuyen, was fined three times for practicing illegal cosmetic surgeries and constantly changing its operating locations. On April 25, the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, Tang Chi Thuong, revealed that the Department Inspectorate conducted a surprise inspection at the facility located at 3/4 Street 25A, Tan Quy Ward, District 7.

During the inspection, it was discovered that the facility was engaging in illegal advertising on Facebook under the name “Doan Thach Tuyen”. The page promoted cosmetic procedures such as facial thread implants, breast augmentation, and abdominal liposuction. Despite being registered for facial care services, the facility did not have the proper licenses to operate medical examination and treatment.

The inspection team found used syringes, drainage tubes with fresh blood stains, and other medical waste in garbage bags on the ground floor. The first floor housed patient beds, a customer consultation room, and invoice books for services like rhinoplasty and filler injections. The second floor contained a room with customers, including a foreigner who had undergone rhinoplasty.

After working with the police, it was revealed that a 24-year-old patient had received rhinoplasty surgery at the facility and paid 50 million VND in cash. The facility was instructed to cease performing certain procedures and remove medical advertisements without proper licensing. They were fined 60 million VND and expected to be suspended for 4.5 months.

This was not the first time the facility had committed violations
