The Homecoming Homeport festival, a joint effort between Aufbruch Hamburg and HPA, will launch on July 4 at the Landungsbrücken in St. Pauli with the theme “Deeptech X Future Ports”. Rather than traditional deck chairs, attendees will be greeted by pagodas for them to relax and enjoy during the festival.

The focus of the festival is on innovative maritime solutions that are shaping the future of ports and maritime operations. This includes mobile sensor technology, automation, robotics, AR, VR, digital twins, and 3D printing. Visitors will have the opportunity to witness numerous use cases in action throughout the event.

Teichmann from the event emphasized that Homeport is committed to being a tech enabler for the port of tomorrow. He highlighted that the festival aims to bridge the gap between the port industry and technology on an international level. By showcasing cutting-edge technologies and advancements, Homecoming Homeport hopes to inspire collaboration and drive progress in the maritime sector.
