High Desert Church in Victorville hosted a graduation ceremony where 180 students from the Cobalt Institute of Math and Science received their diplomas. Principal Clarissa McNally praised the graduates for their ability to embrace challenges, solve complex problems, and develop a deep appreciation for mathematics and science during their time at CIMS. She encouraged them to remember that their potential is limitless and that the world is waiting for the contributions, solutions, and innovations that only they can provide.

Valedictorian Jeri France Quiambao Fontilla and Salutatorian Amir Vincent Shanti delivered speeches to their fellow graduates before they crossed the stage to collect their diplomas. Among the notable graduates were Alfred Otuonye, who will be attending Notre Dame, and several students who received Presidential Scholarships: Mia Villa, Hillary Felix, Mia Sevilla, and Diana Puente.

Cobalt Institute of Math and Science is one of two schools of choice in the Victor Valley Union High School District and has become known as one of the premier academic institutions in the area. The school is ranked second in the High Desert, sixth in the metropolitan area, and 160th in the state according to the U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools rankings. Additionally, Cobalt has been recognized as a Project Lead the Way Distinguished School for the fourth time, showcasing their commitment to providing a transformative learning experience in STEM education for their students.
