On Wednesday evening in Missoula, the final day of the KPAX Sports Awards has arrived. We gathered to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the nominees and reveal the two winners from this year’s group. It was a pleasure to hear from and get to know the 10 nominees from five high schools in Missoula. We are grateful for their dedication and hard work not only for these awards but also throughout their athletic journeys.
The 2024 nominees for the KPAX Sports Awards showcased incredible talent, and we are thrilled to announce that Alix Mund from Hellgate High School and Grady Walker from Sentinel High School are the winners. Mund will be pursuing college track and field at Boise State, while Walker will be playing college football at the University of Montana in Missoula. Both Mund and Walker will be awarded $1,000 scholarships from the Honors Court as part of their accomplishments.
We want to extend our congratulations to all of the nominees for this year’s KPAX Sports Awards. To all student-athletes in the region who are finishing their high school careers, we commend you for your dedication and hard work. It has been a privilege to witness and cover your athletic journeys at KPAX, and we wish you success in your future endeavors, no matter where they may lead you.
